I had the WMF decanter ordered already years ago and was very pleased. During the slow decanting the wine runs almost through the whole abdomen and is thus optimally into contact with oxygen. The last drop was not dissolved perfectly and ran the decanter down outside. A bow napkins or coasters began to on. The glass was high quality, error-free and stable. Now seems the decanter like a cheap Ikeaglas on, weighs less and is 1/3 1/3 more expensive, making a fragile impression and sounds dull. Glass thin and high blow is indeed an art, it is not dominated by WMF. The 2 stars are there only for the near optimum shape and size for 0.7L bottles
