I need to connect the many negative comments I unfortunately. After more than 24 hours duration lived only four of six plates. For me, however not at Qnap o.ae. but on a normal RAID controllers (3ware 9650SE) or even on-board controller.

The first went out in the operation and it was no longer recognized, the second squealed during spin up, and has not been identified.

Schade, formerly WD was once a reliable partner in this segment.
