I was initially unsure if I should choose this camera because it anyway has many pixels for the size of the sensor.
After reading some reviews I've ordered me, and was not disappointed.
The image quality (noise performance) is more than enough for me. (Better than the 40D, despite the more pixels on the same sensor size)
The feel is great, the camera pretty hard.
For me, unfamiliar, some buttons, such as the trigger, this does not have such a clear pressure point as the 40D.
In practice, however, this is no problem, just a bit unusual.
I would definitely recommend a correspondingly large memory card. I have ordered me a 32 GB.
So then adjust when shooting in RAW + JPEG little about 1000 photos on the card. (With the old 8 GB was at just over 200 final)
For me also the battery grip was a must. Thus, also vertical shooting can comfortably make.
Also super is the transmitter function. Have tested this with the Speedlite 430 EX II and it has immediately works great.
One can also choose whether the camera mitblitzt per se or merely triggers the external Speedlite wirelessly.
The new auto focus what I think is great, especially the spot metering which allows a measure towards a very small point.
Addendum:
The back / front focus adjustment is super! Got my lenses tested and almost every does not focus properly.
By simply turning the wheel, this can be corrected / readjust.
Now, the point of focus is also on the autofocus exactly where it should.
Am still very satisfied with the camera!
