This book presents some rules of life that we should take to try to have a balanced life, a "good life." They result mostly of philosophical and spiritual traditions as much (and sometimes a few detours on the side of psychology). F. Lenoir has organized his book in short chapters that make picked a good summary of his ideas and bring them to the light. The author has also to illustrate his remarks, drew some examples in his own biography, which make the test more alive.
Philosophy (or spirituality) should actually be a research and acquisition of wisdom, with the transformative power that entails, and which will ultimately toward more love.
In short, a book that reads nicely, and it must be good to re-read from time to time as "booster shot."
