The rest is a very diverse collection and elusive, but my first impression was that Duane Eddy is (or maybe Eddie Cochran) back. Shantel guitar is prominent in most of the pieces - a bit trashier perhaps (in a good way). The classic 70's sound equipment (amplifier, microphones and instruments) used to this album and it sounds like it. But many of the rhythms are from the 'Beat' generation - früh60er years I would say, but with a twist - almost word for word in the first part of the 'Multiple assimilation'. Some clevereMischen eg sound on 'All the glamor has gone' and all of it great when you play loud, but wenigder Dancehall sampling from his electronic past. I'm sure it will be life-size.
The album contains versions of the last singles "The neighborhood is Alright" and "Super Bad Day '(a updateder his 1998 single" Oh So Lovely' - created from the 1950's Broadway musical "My Fair Lady '()!).
Shantel of humor is still there, for example, 'Your nose is punk', but the texts of some of the songs are heavier you zutrainieren (for me). But they grow on you ...
Do not expect Balkan Bangers or Electronica but a different kind of entertainment - 21st Century 'beat' music!
Recommended.
