8400 compared to 5600 with Samsung devices in live operation

After extensive testing in live operation!

After I'm super happy with the 8400 battery, I have order size and weight
bought the 5600 Battery and tested.
This battery is handy and when it comes to a reload time between to two
completely adequate.

Now I would like after some heavy use also inform my conclusion this:

*** General ***
The unit can look very sophisticated (glossy black) and is for this price a bargain!

It is equipped with a flashlight, which can be connected to a double (with very good tactile feedback of the switch) and switched off again.
The torch is to instructions in a fully charged battery almost 16 days (= half a month)
uninterrupted by light (the 8400), but that I now really do not want to test :-)

8400 Battery Pack:
---------------------
The battery pack weighs 184 grams (which is compared to a laptop battery absolutely top)
and is great about 9.6 (length) x 6.2 (width) x 2.2 (height) cm.

5600 Battery Pack:
---------------------
This battery pack weighs 125 grams and is only about 9.3 (length) x 4.3 (width) x 2.2 (height) cm tall.

What you also need to know and principally is valid for all battery packs that the specified mA indication
Not the same as is, with the loading capacity of the mobile phone battery !!!

8400 and 5600 series battery pack:

This simply means that you can time a mobile phone with fully-loaded with a 2000 battery 8400 battery pack NEVER 4.
The reason is quite simply because it a) is dependent on the charging current and b) the loss which arises during charging ALWAYS.

To have realistic numbers and calculations, about 20% have to deduct up to 30% of capacity.
With the 8400 battery pack can therefore charge about 6000mA and
with the 5600 battery pack about 4000mA.
If anyone claims otherwise, it's a lie and he should prove it in numbers!

Charging starts by connecting the battery pack on the device to be charged, or by single click
on the power button, which also acts as a trigger of the control function of the charge state when no device is connected.
With 4 glowing blue rings (in 8400), or 4 small blue oval luminous points (in 5600)
the state of charge of the battery pack is displayed.
In addition, the last ring / point will start flashing in addition, when the battery below about 300 mA has and is thus discharged almost komlett.
Even if the power is no longer sufficient for charging a device, one still has enough residual capacity to take advantage of the torch over an hour.

What is exemplary compared to other battery packs that with a fully charged cell phone battery, the
Battery pack shuts down again and thus prevents unnecessary additional power loss.

Without having a single additional cables or adapters to take is thus a simultaneous load
any two devices or charge the battery pack (with the long cable) and

Here at me a beautiful blue velor was there.
However, this much too large (11 cm wide and 15.5 cm long) and has no pocket for the adapter.
If you turn the bag slightly, the adapter can easily slip out and get lost.
I therefore recommend a mini camera bag nachzukaufen and these velor pocket for another
Device (eg external 2.5 "USB hard drive) to use.
Oh the here often criticized as missing plug was for EU sockets here.

There is a folder called "Manual" here.
This is true only in Chinese and English, but a simple and clear.
In principle, everything is self-explanatory and therefore not bad if this had not been there.

Funnily enough, on the packaging for the technical data, German and English on it.
It also noted that it is an "Internet translation" because of "Input" is in German
"Input" instead of "input" :-)

5600 Battery Pack:

8400 and 5600 series battery pack:

Indicated the battery pack with a lifespan of about 500 charges.
This means if you use the battery pack really regularly
and every other day is charging, then it would, if true,
the life of at least 2 years to a maximum of x years longer be in less usage.

The indicated on the package for 7 hours therefore are too optimistic after my tests / insufficient.

5600 Battery Pack:

Charging time via USB on desktop PC when the 5600 was completely empty battery pack about 5.5 hours.
Charging time per stream with original power supply if the 5600 was completely empty battery pack about 6.5 hours.
The indicated on the package 6 hours after my tests are therefore realistic.

And no, it is not a mistake:
With me is the charging process on the PC, even after repeated tests, actually slightly faster than with original power supply.

A noticeable difference I could not tell if I have loaded the equipment at 0.6A or 2.0A port.
The S2 takes almost as much time on both ports.
Also, the Tab invites independently in almost the same time, if it is dependent on one or the other port.
I could have stayed at least expect a difference of more than 20%.
Probably, however, controlled by an electronic system in the devices.

Just buy it and exactly what I was looking for.
When the "magic triangle": 1.) power 2.) weight / size and 3. to agree) Price,
there is currently no alternative.

Those who want smaller and lighter taking the 5600, when slightly less capacity is not bad,
otherwise he should access the best compromise, the 8400.
The 12000 is the price very good, but to take on difficult and with "natural" abate the battery over time, the difference with the 8400 is dwindling. But must decide each self.
