"Measure time your blood pressure regularly," advised my family doctor. Since the last measurements were all a bit high with her, I wanted to buy me a blood pressure monitor at home. Of course I compared earlier the various products and came across this with good test rating (precise measurement) encountered. Per price comparison I have found the best source here in the Market Place. The device comes in a small cardboard box suitable for safe keeping. It contains besides the actual blood pressure monitor the clearly written instructions, the warranty card, 2 booklets for entering the measured blood pressure values (date, time, upper value, lower value, pulse), the required batteries (which made me very happy, because I so equal could try) and an upper arm cuff, which should be enough for most people. Operation is simple: place the cuff according to instructions - here is well described, what to look at the measurement (did you know that talk can affect the measurement?). After that, only one of the buttons must be (male or female) to be pressed and the measurement starts. The pump noise is very low key. After about 10 seconds the measured values have been determined. The device saves you from 1 to 2 persons up to 30 measurements and then at the request of the average. There is also a guest mode - then the measured values are not saved. So you can do the neighbors something good or even make an interim measure, which should not be noticed. Oh yes, a plastic case with an external pocket for note books and a pen is attending. So the unit is kept clean always nice. The instrument itself is nicely decorated and holds good. The surface is smooth and can be cleaned well - if sometimes necessary. The measured values are easy to read. The knobs are large, they are easy to press (also not too light) and light up after being pressed.
I would buy the device at any time. Battery operation it can also be good to take on trips. I opted for a model with upper arm cuff because of the measurement accuracy. Equipment for the forearm are smaller and thus more practical, but also inaccurate.
On my last visit to the doctor, I have looked at times the blood Duck meter there. What a coincidence, also a Boso! The model with the same instrumentation as this one (see Boso website) - but only with memories for one person. Since this was hardly more expensive for two people at Amazon than for one person, I have this ordered here.
On blood pressure itself, the meter changes unfortunately nothing, but you can check whether the drugs also act.
