In my case I chose to use this accessory when I run and when I ride my bike, especially because, unlike a headset (wired or wireless), it is not isolated from the outside world, c that is to say, it hardly reduces ambient noise when needed flows, especially cycling.
In fact, if I understand, one of two microphones on the headset is used to transmit external noises in the ear. That is well thought out. But in truth this technology seems transposable to a helmet.
But after various tests, including all bits provided, I note that, unfortunately, I can not use this accessory as expected because it does not properly fit in my ear. I feel like Eric L. said on this site, that "we must undergo surgery to the ear to fit your ear to ear.". However I will contact Motorola to know if there is a way (not surgery!) To overcome this crippling default because it is unfortunate to have to renounce the use of this accessory which, despite everything, this lot positive aspects.

Thus pairing this headset with the smartphone presents no difficulty. It connects to the phone when it is placed in the ear and disconnects when it is removed or when moving away too much of the smartphone. The connection is signaled by a spoken message. Similarly disconnection due to the remoteness itself by a spoken message.
To make, cut or reject a call just touch the headset.
To set the headset must be pressed about 8 seconds on its outer surface and release the support. Then just follow the voice prompts. These parameters include the choice of language and activation of the "passthrough", that is to say, of the microphone transmitting the background noise. The printed user manual indicates that this activation reduces the battery life. Indeed a voice message mentions a 3 hour talk time, while also mentioned a battery life of 10 hours, which probably corresponds to the case where the passthrough function is not activated.
Charging the headset battery is done using a case itself comprising a battery which, for its part, is loadable with a micro USB port. It is not supplied charger, but a USB cable at one end and micro USB to another. This lack of a charger is not, in my opinion, not a problem because you can use the smartphone charger or computer USB port.
The battery case is advertised as having twice the capacity of the atrium. Thus, without charger connected to the network, with the battery of the case is available in principle about 9 hours of talk time ("passthrough" on). But as I rarely exceeds 2 hours of communications per month I do not think I have the ability to check the announced features.
I also note that the transport of the load box is facilitated by a projection having an opening in which one can pass a ring, for example, to hang on a keychain.
Finally, regarding the positive properties of this accessory, the headset is not limited to telephone conversations because you can listen all that can be transmitted through smartphone: music, radio, etc.
Of course one should not expect to be able to enjoy surround sound.
Going back to the negative aspects of this headset I also note that the application "Moto Voice," which is supposed to provide easy voice control is only available for smartphones Motorola (Moto X and Droid). Certainly a less elaborate voice command should work but I have not managed to set out with my smartphone Huawei G620S.
In conclusion I attribute regretfully note 2 stars ("I do not like") for failure to maintain the headset in the ear. But I will change that assessment if I find a way to remedy this defect.
