Getting lost in the charming streets of the old town, Gamla Stan, gleaning in the book some architectural information is very nice. Some good plans including boat traffic in the archipelago are very useful.
However, the small size of the book, after all who wants to embrace much of the city, very rich, leaves some aspects a little disappointing. Especially for restaurants, cafes, bars or small over the winter (and spa baths for example). References are few compared to the vast number of institutions. Some restaurants presented as "typical" turn out there more than authentic tourist places.
Sure, do not ask too: the guide was very helpful on the spot to stroll and discover the different aspects of the city. For the rest, strolling, you end up falling on good places full of charm!
