This is my first SLR camera. Before I always snapped with compact cameras. My goals with photography: my daughter and my wife photographed, holiday photos, photos for special events (birthdays, etc.), finished. My biggest problem with compact cameras: the quality of the photos, especially in low light conditions. After 3 different compact cameras and a bridge camera the time had come: I finally met the right decision and bought this Canon EOS 1200D with 18-55mm lens standard. Even the first tentative experiments with this camera surpassed the result everything I was used to. A relative borrowed times briefly the Canon EF 50mm 1: 1.8 II lens (52mm filter thread), which meant that I hastily and bought it. For portraits and insanely beautiful snapshots of my daughter priceless great shots. Thanks to the offered especially for this camera Gratis- app (I use it on iOS) there is even an instruction, how to deal in practice with the semi-manual and program modes at all with the camera. Ideal for me as a new student. I am so far very happy with this camera and on my wish list at the top is now a zoom lens to top it off. By professionals or experienced amateurs for any advice I am very grateful.
