A first step in the right direction?

First of all, should really be noted that with this game, there is no fearsome continuation of Final Fantasy classic à la Final Fantasy X-2. It represents a fantastic, almost independent and serious storyline, which, though influenced by the character of its predecessor and thus ensures beautiful Reunion moments, but also as an independent Final Fantasy XV could appear.

The game itself has a Final Fantasy-part too thin storyline. Although this is also provided with various twists, but not surprised so andd especially great stages like in Final Fantasy X or XIII. Almost disappointing for a Final Fantasy-part is the short period of about 20-25h, one needs to play through the main storyline.

The beginning and the end shine again in a prime, Square Enix usual graphics quality, the rest is, however, trimmed in-game graphics, which I think is a pity, because well aware of material here disks (1CD instead of 3 like in Final Fantasy XIII), wanted to be saved and so the video files have been compressed down.

You can tell the game strong that it would like the Western market fell by as the choice allows the player what he answers. This is quite nice, but not really useful implemented: very funny dialogues occur while out, really do affect the different responses the story but history. Next it will shine "additional missions" with countless, 160 in number: they are indeed sometimes quite nice, but sometimes also as "Japanese" failed (did every being in the world in your logbook), that no one who still has a private life , can really fulfill these. Too bad that you have to meet each mission to unlock the secret ending.

Slightly further, what I missed hard, is the characterization of the protagonists. First two protagonists of a Final Fantasy game are far too few. And then the characterization Although other titles across the street is great for a game in the Final Fantasy universe but far too superficial and predictable. The only surprise is the end.

Next the monster development is quite nice, but would rather have had more characters. The Auflevel system would also be able to orient a little more to Final Fantasy X, and no doubt always go off the same path.

The fights are staged once again great, the game is when you're going quite fun, even if it has too few big opponents and so maybe something fails to light, focusing it only on the story.

Music Technically I was ambivalent the game: on the one hand are great orchestral sounds à la Final Fantasy here, on the other cruel Japanese-Pop, a well not even hear Japanese in her spare time.

Overall, I would recommend the game well, especially for those who are still with the FF universe unknown, since it is a simple entry and strongly oriented on the western market. FF veterans had to say that they would have to cut some of their claims, what story and graphic revolutions responsive. The story is all cut down, at least in the end.
