The assembly of this little drone is fast and simple. We insert the battery on the drone, it clipped the help of a plastic rod wheels on the drone, we personalize it with stickers (12 models for choice) and like most Parrot drones, remains the longest cable load USB1h30.
After starting Bluetooth, the application recognizes FreeFligh3 the drone rather quickly, that one can then rename and set (parameter steering, speed and steering mode).
A small impulse of the finger on the button "Take off" and the Rolling Spider quickly takes off (making a lot of noise and dair) and stabilizes at about 1m from the floor. From there, though I must admit that it took me a while dadaptation (the first flight, about 5 minutes), the grip is quite fast and intuitive.
The drone tends to go faster, so you have a light hand when the driver. A safety switches on automatically when it encounters an obstacle: the propellers intersect and then made a last plummeting. Fortunately, the wheels cushion shocks relatively well [More to avoid breaking objects, but i still caused death of a beautiful bouquet of flowers which was in the middle;)]
An option in The application also allows you to change the attitude of the Rolling Spider, which steals (almost) over and becomes (almost) a "remote control car" climbing the walls.
It is so light that I highly recommend to use it outdoors when there is any wind.
Acrobatic figures are available on The application (loops front and rear, 180 ° turn), but if they are made inside, it is necessary first to clear up space.
The photo function is not very significant on this mini UAV. A single vertical camera with a resolution of only 300,000 pixels.
To conclude: The design of Rolling Spider is original and trendy, and customizing it with the help of stickers is welcome. The packaging is just superbly thought. Stability is good, taking quick and intuitive hand. You can have fun to fly it, roll it, make loops, flips with really excellent resistance to shocks. A mini UAV with which we take pleasure and that is fun for both smaller than for large ones.
Yes but now the biggest problem is still and always the battery charge to 1:30 5mn is fun, it's really frustrating (especially since the charge can only be made via USB port). The picture quality is quite low, but the photos are rendered still quite nice.
