Access via the mydlink app is both simple and intuitive iPhone as on iPad, but it's totally absurd from D-Link to sell its iPad app 0.89 for full benefit from all the functions (especially as contribution is not fantastic compared to the free version: a board, use the free version).
Installation is fairly confusing and we would have preferred a web configuration (the camera has its own Internet site control accessible on the same LAN as this one, or external to the proper configuration of the router) directly indicated rather than the CD (which ultimately is not necessary - and that I did not open, since my computer has no CD player). This would require a redesign of the web interface to deliver it to the tastes of the day and simplify its overall ergonomics. The mydlink platform seems relatively new but totally disconnected from this interface it. A unification of the two is desirable.
The infrared function is significant even though it tends to trigger an infrequently, and therefore disrupt the movement detector when it is activated (a mode change day / night triggers a motion detection, just as sudden changes in brightness sometimes causing untimely notifications). Note that when rotating the camera through its engine, even with movement sensor activated, motion is not detected generated which is a plus.
I am quite satisfied with this purchase that allows me to do what I expected from a camera at this price: monitor my apartment day and night and be warned of possible movements.
