This is the second CD I bought Francis Cabrel. It's a great introduction to his music Even Though it only covers Reviews some of His hits entre 1977 and 1987. I truly believe he shoulds-have included the song If _The Time in Allait_ from His _Quelqu'un of INSIDE_ album, Among Others, purpose I Realize you can only put so much on one CD. He cam out également With Some great songs In His albums After 1987 (Sarcabane, Samedi Soir Sur La Terre, and off-season). I loved _Petite Marie_ When I heard it. This is the song That made famous _him_. I later Took the time to translate the lyrics, and now Realizing the beauty of this song I find it very moving. His music is very good, but you are really missing much if you Do not Understand His lyrics are very qui Meaningful and true to life. Fortunately Almost always he includes lyrics With His CDs; the only two I can think of qui Does not include lyrics are _Cabrel Public_ (one de son live albums) and _The Poussiere_ Walls (his first album). My favorite song on this CD is _Encore and Encore_. It's unfortunate That a sample is not available here. There are two different live versions of this song On His 3-CD live recording _D'une the shadow autre_ (this set is a challenge to find) qui Both are more than interesting (but not a replacement for) the studio version.
