This is the second X-Box360 after the first years of service has done. As for the oft-mentioned problem with the volume, I find some of the statements being too exaggerated. You can hear the DVD drive, but it is not as if one must shout in order to drown out the. And (for the arcade version additionally managed) hard drive provides a remedy.
The so-called Ring of Death I had once, after I had separated the console from the mains to take them with a friend. After the brief shock I have separated the unit from the mains again, reconnected and it ran perfectly again.
However, I've read that had to send in the console out some users. And despite the well-good warranty services this is a very annoying point because a simple disconnect from the grid should not call something forth.
Another point that is it very much like the X-Box controller, which, in my opinion, very well in the hand and even after a long playing time does not lead to aching hands. For me, better than the controller of the PS.
The really great selection of games provides something for everyone. Since I also have a few games of the first X-Box, for me it was an advantage that a large number of games can be played on the 360.
Since I use the console as a DVD player, I find the remote control for the X-Box 360 extremely well. You will optically young and modern, but this is clearly designed and the keys can be operated comfortably.
All in all I will probably remain in the foreseeable future of the 360 faithful, but then probably a slightly better equipped version. It would be desirable, of course, at some point, a Blu-Ray drive. And up on the famous Ring of Death problem that has cost in the standings one point, a fully convincing for me gaming console.
