To go further
America is a young woman who lives in Illea and which is none other than the old United States. She and her family are artists and are therefore a lower caste: the Five - a hierarchy of castes 8, the eighth being the poorest. Life is not easy every day but America does not complain. All the more that her boyfriend: Apsen, brightens his week. However Aspen is a Six, and America knows that her mother never nacceptera a union with a lower caste. Aspen dailleurs lives rather resent the fact of not being able to fully provide for his family and those dAmerica. Not wanting his misfortune on his conscience, he will linciter to participate in the draw for the selection: a great game show that will take them pretenders to the royal palace and will ship them in a competition to win the heart of Prince Maxon and become the future dIllea Queen.
America is a character that i loved it. The young woman is honest and sincerity brings incredible freshness to the novel. I did not at all annoyed with him and that I was able to discover was a real happiness. The fact linger about his life before propel the selection really lets get used to it, to know it, but also to discover life outside the Palace; This will contrast with terribly afterwards.
The other outstanding persons are, of course, the two men of history: Aspen Maxon. If I have not especially appreciated Aspen, it was something else with Maxon is my little bit of heart of the story. This boy, gentle and kind but also a bit temperamental and oblivious to the outside life, made me think of the expression "an iron fist in a velvet glove". The young man, called to be the future sovereign, can show a lot of sweetness, but also knows recall its supremacy and control his image in any circumstances.
The pages of this novel senchaînent quickly. It maura took two days to eat and I liked the atmosphere very "Bachelor" on a large scale. The whole is the dAmerica views and is situated in a dystopian world worked very well. The writing of Kiera Cass is a treat and fluidity of his sentences I embarked on a whirlwind of feelings, placing me in an untenable waiting to learn more and more. Jai dailleurs wait to immerse myself in the second volume which mattends in my reading light and I want to read before the release of Volume 3 on 15 May.
