The Little Prince (Paperback)

Customer Review

With the incredible discovery of the aircraft which was that the last mission of Saint Exupéry, The Little Prince Dad, who died 60 years ago, this book is subject to discussion and handed the stage to remember how Saint-Exupéry obtained the "literary" recognition largest - that of the public - with a nice story to story-like smile that could do without it imaginable and pass on to posterity. The Little Prince is neither more nor less than the French work most translated (140 languages) and sold by million worldwide; 150 unforgettable pages populated with wonderful messages of love, of hope even if it is also the subject of a great trade with multiple derivatives sold for high prices because The Little Prince is a fashionable brand which is like the little ones whose moms dream ...
First degree, one could consider the work of Saint Exupéry as a naive literature or even silly that oscillates between nostalgia and sweet reverie by embroidering around a story uninteresting starring a boy, a rose, a star, a fox ... The specialists in literature, intellectual or at least those who think of themselves as "intellectuals" and "specialists" have been able to challenge the quality of the story, the style apparently frail, weak ideas that would be issued in this free . However, the Little Prince is a masterpiece work of humanism, a universal lesson of confidence, that does just dreaming those who lost their inner child and would like to be able to find the courage to see the good even in the bad ... The writing is simple, even childish, but just pure, accessible to all and voluntarily rooted in childhood language to better reflect the beauty and sensitivity of the world that we all dream as a child: a world of love and poetry! Draw me a sheep who does not remember that request might seem naive again and yet is so full of meaning? The Little Prince is a book original, magical, sometimes realistic despite the surrealism of adventure, now in its utopian vision of the ideal world, we must read and reread it, not just when you're a kid or teenager or when you want to do discover to his children, because it is filled with symbolic often beyond our gaze so-called adult eager to see the world as it is ... Maybe is it the Little Prince who best seen in his quest for himself, his encounter with the Other, his discovery of the world?
The genius of Saint-Exupéry is indeed to offer a book marking where all readings are possible, whether it is the funny fable for children or a philosophical view of life that poses the main questions our world and our reason for being, while leaving each player the freedom to find their own answers! The great strength of this book is finally his uncommon universalism that makes each of us flying over or carefully reading and remembering, should regain some of himself!
