I even preferred to the first volume, because I find it easier to take affection for both characters. We have details on their respective personality than was the case for Chase and Maddie, and the fact that their story takes place over a longer period helps make their realistic story.
Chad is a true celebrity. Paparazzi stick to him all day, hordes of fans constantly come ask for autographs, and girls swoon before him. But Bridget does nothing to plug it all, she is interested above all by Chad itself, and that is what is touching. I liked the fact that the two heroes go to get laid in a real complicity over the weeks. Their dialogues are tasty, the way they constantly squabbling makes them very human.
So even if there is the same light as in the first volume, the love story is very different, which is rare for an author. So I really hate to discover the Volume 3 of Chandler, because with someone as strict as Miss Gore, it promises!
