I was literally dazzled ... I had never read a book with a strange shape, disturbing but incredibly fair. Like Earth and Ashes, I found in the writing of the author which is nothing less than pure sensitivity. His text tip of gestures, words, very heavy meaning. The entire action is always held in the same place: a room where a man is lying in a coma, his wife tried to wake up the prayers. The despair and madness seized her turn, she confides, complains, growls, groans, always struck by the impassivity of her husband almost lifeless. A striking contrast, moving. And the war around them, hard, daily, punctuated by gunfire, the cease-fire, soldiers on both sides who suddenly arrive punctually in the house without anyone knowing anything of their intentions. It lasts so long that one is accomode. We feel every moment another daily, so that other people different from us, both as regards culture as the precariousness of existence. As the scene never moves, the result is very visual and it could probably easily make a play, I also think that the result should be extraordinary. Temporally, this is the night the day, children's games or the call of mullah that punctuate the hours; Again, the result is very sensitive, very intimate. This author really creates works which I am not used but I discovered with growing enthusiasm.
