A milestone in the post-punk era

The album, published in August 1978 showed the second the band Wire, that they are not the many mayflies of punk / post-punk. The songs are only partially so minimalist and simple as on the debut "Pink Flag". "Chairs Missing" is not a concept album, but the song structures are considerably more sophisticated and the board more like "in one piece".
It is impossible for me to describe the individual pieces. CD You have just heard, if possible from start to finish.
For me, "Chairs Missing" and the follow-up album "154" Milestones of the late 1970s and both CD's I hear today, over 30 years later, still often like.
