By chance I came across the music of Laura Marling and was wondering that after looking at some of their videos just 20 Lenze has to this album, the lady on the clock. But it's not just how they are in their videos, a certain maturity can still be found, especially in their music. If they now will sound like it has done time as the young Bob Dylan in the first album, Miss Marling has a great future ahead of him. All songs on the disc are excellent produced, lyrically intimate as versatile and musically mature, as if Miss Marling never done anything else in their lives than writing songs! The slight pop touch some songs from their previous album "Alas I Can not Swim" holds here quite pleasant in the background, even though the songs a certain Massenkombatibilität can not be denied! After a long time without any special musical highlights me has really blown over this album! "Hope in the air" or "Rambling Man" are for me the classic status on a par with, for example, Cat Stevens "Father & Son" or "Miss Robinson" by Simon & Garfunkel. The Folk plugged Miss Marling in the blood and so a couple of inspirations just named, can recognize without a doubt. But she does her thing and that will certainly be even more interesting in the next few years (especially with some more songs on the album and liked more instrumentals). But, so far so good!
