A novel that gave me a taste for reading

I would not describe the story as others are harnessed to it.
Before this book I was on the outs with the literature (for lack of time and preference for news magazines). So we gave it to me to give me a taste for reading.
And it was a masterstroke. The fact is that I devoured this book, UNFORTUNATELY finished too fast five days later.

Going back to the book, the author has managed to combine the suspense of the police, to the historic ambience of a Barcelona under the Franco era (and all that that implies in terms of social atmosphere). But the best is that it has created correctly as if the characters were known in an original scenario.

Carlos Ruiz Safon posted in this novel, "a book we love even more that can project themselves into it." For me this was the case, but also to all those to whom I advised.

In conclusion this is one if not the best book I have read for a long time.

PS: Congratulations to the translator who was able to transcribe the whole atmosphere, sensitivity and suspense of a bestselling Spanish.
