Hybrid tablet / laptop, the Sony Vaio Tap 11 at first pleasantly surprised by its finish. The back of the brushed aluminum keyboard is the most beautiful effect, and the whole gives a very solid feel appreciated. Nice look, ultra-well finished machine: a very good point. Ergonomics, the separable keyboard (bluetooth connected to the tablet, it recharges via a magnetic connector) is however not a complete success. Can not be used in a "nomadic" mode, with the PC on the knees for example. Level autonomy, the Vaio Tap 11 is proving a little disappointing. While the manufacturer claims more than 9 autonomy, the battery hardly holds 4-5 hours in normal use. Similarly, in terms of performance, this hybrid is not on top: one feels that the processor suffers a bit when it comes to give him a little demanding tasks. The color rendering seemed pretty good. The screen is bright and colors are vivid and enjoyable. The sound rendering, however, is much more medium and the volume of the speakers is just enough.
In the end, we have to do a good product, well done aesthetically, but a little limited in performance and ergonomics.
