this album has attracted me since publication day in his spell. In my eyes it's not a rap / hip hop in
the classical sense, Pi is gone with this work complete a level, in the art, I as a great NAS Fan
can such a thing only in favor.
The album comes purely visual chic with a luxuriant booklet where are all the lyrics on the album, to see the
CD still like a vinyl record, I also found very nice.
Now for the music itself:
The beats are mostly produced by Biztram and he has managed to create it a nice polyphonic soundscape, thereto I can
really not complain.
In my opinion, Pi is bordered on the remaining German rap scene, he explicitly shows that in the intro and outro in (Outro In it are, however,
still probs at other German rapper from).
What variety of topics are processed As many scenarios, it's 7 of 18 act of women and one of his daughter (lullaby).
Wunderkind I do not count this as it leaves too much freedom of interpretation. Since each of these 7 tracks but in its own way is unique,
I feel this number is not as disturbing.
Social criticism is not too short, it takes place anyway through almost the entire album.
By working from Goethe's Faust I've learned one thing a piece of art to analyze never dead / interpret,
otherwise you have no more fun in mind, so I let it be here. :)
At the end of my top 3 Anspieltipps and evaluation:
1: "Three crosses for Germany", this song is for me one of the best Rapliedern that existed in Germany so far, which is gigantic Atmossphäre
(No joke when you're melancholic mood anyway, one can here come the tears) and guitars are never wrong in hip hop.
2: "Virus", wonderful social criticism, capitalism, consumerism & Co are the disease that is killing the human race.
3: "prodigy": No song I've often heard on the album, at first I thought it is auschlieslich addressed to his daughter, it also comes right after "lullaby", but it's a song against cliché's to status symbols and for the individual to is also a beautiful song Motivation.
At the end we can only say it's a must-have, one of the best German albums there.
5/5 stars.
