The characters are out of sync with reality and have very specific that little touch of madness to writing novelist. With the character of obese American GI, Amélie Nothomb thumbed his nose majestic clichés of American society.
In this book, the author speaks much of itself and throughout the reading I wondered where was the boundary between reality and fiction. The treatment of the person as a character is common in Amélie Nothomb but I can not help thinking that some things are true in what it says on it. It is unclear what.
The style itself is faithful to the author. A simple and pleasant writing but no more. However, I note that this book has much rained the last two out.
In short: A pleasant reading which includes the writing characteristics of the author.
