LR is limited to important functions of image development (I write deliberately not working). Preferably, one uses RAW files to have the higher dynamic range more leeway. After a short time one uses all the major sovereign functions mostly with one click to apply the effect. The image development is very fast and is great fun. So far I have not missed any function. Conclusion: A super program does exactly what it is - a clear buy!
If LR times but reaches its limits, the following programs are recommended and free:
- The Gimp: can indeed keep a complex image processing software with features that do not quite with Photoshop but probably is more than enough for 90% of all users.
- Luminance HDR: A program consisting of several images with different exposures generated an HDR image. So get images even then drawing when the contrasts are very high (eg very bright spots in the sun with very dark areas).
