Since I put especially emphasis on realistic color representation for the image processing and no games have, I opted for a matte VA panel. After a long search my choice fell on the Acer S271HLDbid for 220,11.- Euro.
The description is on Amazon, although very poor, on the Acer page are a few more details to find. Tuesdays 8:20 clock the obvious last-stock at Amazon copy ordered before Wednesday at 11:00 clock delivered.
The packaging was very good, the structure quickly and easily, the monitor is very light, the frame widths laterally and above about 1 cm, down about 2 cm. Of course, piano lacquer, there is currently nothing else.
In addition to the monitor and stand the show is an external switching power supply, the power cord with grounded plug and one American, one VGA and one DVI connector cable. Of course, Quick Start Guide and Manual CD.
But now connected to the monitor via DVI: He was immediately recognized correctly (Windows 8.1), but was much too bright basic setting brightness and contrast 100% 50% - otherwise the image size and location perfect. First amendment to ECO-setting brought noticeable improvement. Since the settings via the OSD menu are a bit difficult, I .habe the settings on the graphics card (Nvidia) made - brightness and contrast at the moment 50% each, Gamma 1.0, color matching center position. Thus photos and videos are presented perfectly.
Currently this monitor for 266.00 + 4.00 Euro is offered by the tech-shipping - once it available for 220.11 Amazon is from me again an absolute buy recommendation as well, it is suitable for demanding gamers, I can not judge
,
The only thing that could possibly make a small deduction: As with all devices in this price group no height adjustment 100 x 100 mm VESA screw holes are however available. Nevertheless, I give the monitor for price, amenities (DVI cable) and picture quality full 5 stars.
For non-professional gamer an absolute buy recommendation!
