So I am of all that I have now met with Logitech, excited.
Properly innovative technology that works and top customer service.
For my Toshiba TV I had been looking for a replacement remote control because I have lost the originals.
When replacement remote control which I then ordered it turned out, that does not work with their functions half. Had probably been programmed wrong. So I sent it back.
Then I came up with the idea to me to program my remote control itself.
So I came to Logitech.
While the Harmony 300i can only manage 4 devices, but for my needs enough.
So I ordered it myself.
Goods arrived quickly and on time.
On the Logitech site is very well explained everything, how to proceed.
The Harmony 300i simply connect via USB cable to the computer and you can be programmed.
The 4 large white buttons on top of the Harmony 300i can be assigned to 4 devices.
I have chosen for my 3 TV, so I can now control my 3 TV with 1 remote control.
It then searches in the Logitech database the devices, which have been, going to synchronize and hey presto, the land-key commands on the Harmony 300i.
Very intelligent and solved properly made good.
Especially reliable.
It works.
My Sony television and Toshiba TV I've found in the database of Logitech immediately.
So I could also play the key commands immediately to the Harmony 300i.
In my Medion TV I had something in the database, look for a similar device, which could possibly match.
Also it worked.
If one does not get further, help a people from Logitech customer support even further.
By telephone and via a normal German fixed terminal and in German.
Everything was great.
I could even since I still own the remote control in case of Medion TV, broadcast and on the Logitech site targeted some special keys on the Harmony 300i assign.
This makes even fun, is clearly laid out and work at the end.
So does engineering sense.
I then tried the same whether now all 3 programmed devices are actually operated.
Everything works.
Witness very well.
The replacement of the original remote control would have cost at the end of nearly 50.00.
The Harmony 300i will cost less than half, to program a bit to suit your mood and can control at the end of its 4 major home appliances with one remote.
I'm excited about this concept and very satisfied ....
