Customer Review

The first impression is yes in principle in life is always a factor that would decide at the beginning, if one is set positive or a negative one towards matter. So how in Stadtaffe ?!
My first impression: Fantastic Instrumentals - great orchestral recordings that show once again that you can use more than konversativ classical instruments only.

Using the great sounds creates Peter Fox a soothing good mood music, far away from other German artists, celebrate the melancholy to partially deep in the Depression. He spared from real problems of life we thankfully, does not mean of course that it does not provide some very successful everyday observations. This ease in dealing with texts, Rhymes and lines brings about the only small problem of the album: the content. This is now not always the best side and sometimes gets a bit monotonous. (What in no way means that I demand songs with problem-oriented and message texts flooded). A little more would have been nice nonetheless.

Songs like the single already released "April showers", "head loss", "The Last Day" "locomotive on 2 legs" or "fever" are danceable tracks in the best sense, which will bring any music system to a boil. Actually really grooving every song by so right and has been musically implemented shiny!
With all the grooves and danceable rhythms, it's almost ironic that the best song on the slower tunes heard. "Haus am See" is a great late summer / autumn hymn. Peter Fox presents here an instrumentalization that one, do not expect for a song that wants to conquer the charts! Rarely heard violins used as appropriate. Yes, I want a house on the lake.

Conclusion: Great, very positive album - a little bit more content would have done well
