The technical facts are known - in my view the Xbox One is undoubtedly a worthy and powerful successor to the successful Xbox 360 console. To which I would like to address or rather what me and perhaps other hobby gamers engaged - how could the future of the Xbox One look? After more than unfortunate press conference for the launch with extremely commercially oriented game plan without paying much attention to the players Microsoft had to quickly backtrack to avoid worse. Fortunately, it is still possible Used Games without "penalty fees" or to refer the like. The bland aftertaste remained, however - at least for me. The Xbox One has great potential, I was looking forward to real Kinect blockbuster. Whatnot were it conceivable - a survival horror as Kinect-exclusive Dead Iceland or an action-packed Halo Kinect with reasonable control, sometimes a challenging and ingenious Star Wars implementation? I do not know, and am a little disappointed that I will probably not find out. I think with Launch of Xbox One without Kinect sensor as a central part, the Kinect Blockbuster will ultimately fail. How are third-party put on successful Kinect title when the economy is questioned due to less Kinect user? Sure there will be grandiose title without Kinect and the Xbox One is a great NextGen console, but it lacks in my opinion, the unique selling point - the big difference for PS4 and vice versa. I find it very sad, but at the same time to have backtracked respectable Microsoft and to respond to the drastic player feedback. Especially in many strategic ideas of Microsoft from my perspective the right way, to listen to the player.
Conclusion for me: The Xbox One is a strong NextGen console. It will certainly be a great title, but the long to medium term the difference to PS4 will likely lie in technical nuances and a few exclusive titles. I find that very sad - I hoped for a stronger competition. A greater incentive for manufacturers pleased to publish different exclusive title to focus on innovation. Instead, I think that the United the title will be released for both consoles, the strategy of the manufacturer is similarly aligned so fast nobody will hervorstoßen with new ideas. Too bad - I really hope that both the PS4 and Xbox One a success and the producers do not lose their courage so that we will no thinking "PS4 or Xbox One but jacket and trousers ...?"
