I love the world of fantasy Gabriel Katz: a rather solid anchor medieval (but set in a fantasy world of course), with just enough fantasy keys to disorient us, but without overwhelming us. The style is affordable without being simplistic, construction is fluid without becoming linear, and the characters are endearing without falling into caricature ... there was in my view an example of "real" literary quality, where it does not replace the lack of creativity by a roaring complexity. When one masters his art, no need to make the boxes! What more? A fascinating story perhaps? Bingo also there: the book devours punctuated events and "scenes" film which almost every time we want to know the result.
Aeternia is it a total success? It is difficult to answer yes remaining objective, but what is certain is that the book is "at least" excellent. :) The criticism does not, however mistaken, almost all of the specialized blogosphere having praised. The man is not his first success (multiple price in multiple rooms for the previous items), the quality of this new album does not surprise so many people ...
In short, if you are reading this review to see if it's worth, the answer is clearly yes for me, you can go there without fear, you will not regret it.
