Mordor Shadow makes just mood. I've already spent a few hours in Middle-earth, and it will follow a few. So if you really want to explore and solve everything, it is really busy for a while (about 25-40h). The gameplay reminds really strong to Assassins Creed (sprinting, jumping death, Backstab, Discover enemies, synchronization on viewpoints etc.) and to the Batman Arkham parts, which I do not find bad. Because the Batman combat system I liked always very good!
Weaknesses of the game are the story and the "empty" open world, which is divided into large areas (not completely freely accessible like Assassins Creed).
Peaceful NPCs there are few, one meets usually only enemy Uruk. In Assassins Creed there are at least still "peaceful citizens" and the guards also engage not always immediately. But in the shadow of Mordor somehow everything seems rushed and a bit stressful. You come across several captains, then back to a chief, then a pack Caragor And finally a squad Uruk.
Nevertheless excites me the game mainly because of the Nemesis system (skin men fight each other, some rising to the rank, while others lose the battle and be replaced by the new Captain / Chief). Later in the game you can then recruit Uruks for his own army. This every playthrough is essentially different (apart from the story and side missions. The entire gameplay just feels fresh, every fight is different somehow. And that's what distinguishes Mordor shadows. It simply brings new in the gaming world. That's why the game deserves five stars!
