In market unfortunately I could not compare the cameras because nowhere batteries were inserted. So I had my choice solely on the basis of product characteristics in employment.
A Lumix moderate 5x zoom with optical stabilizer and an initial aperture of f2.8, I actually thought you can not do much wrong.
Unfortunately Far ..
Again a typical marketing thing. No matter how big the sensor, the main thing it clap thick 16mpx. The result: completely noisy even at best light images. The pixels seem even to melt into each other, the 100% view looks more like a "painting" image effect than for a photo.
To that we, the white balance is worse than my smartphone from the lower midfield.
The Panorama function is also a real let down. The image results disastrous, it is not even useful to the general view.
Backlight immediately leads to high contrast drop across the entire image area.
Technically menu you have the choice between automatic, automatic and automatic again. One can absolutely nothing manually, not even the simplest things. Ok, the exposure can be regulated at least, and that is most needed ..
The display could not convince. The individual pixels you can already identify a large margin to the eye. Moreover, it was probably dispensed with AR coating.
Just so there is no false impression, I expect such a cheap camera not work miracles. But if an actual digital camera in picture quality is well below a nearly 6-year-old camera of the same price range, I can only shake my head incomprehensible.
My IXUS 80 IS yielded significantly better results ..
The 2 stars are due to the size and the price still geradeso ok .. If you have a high quality smartphone, however, can completely eliminate these purchase!
