"HAZE" (Dunst [veil]) is, according to my feeling, a very average shooter that although mitgibt some innovations, but does not transported really convincing.
The graphics in outdoor areas not overwhelming but quite ok. In rooms, however, they seemed very sterile and lacking in detail, especially the walls in houses or tunnels get quite monotonous therefore.
From the gameplay, the game is mostly solid, but not outstanding. While there are quite a few different weapons (storm, grist and sniper rifle, rocket and flamethrower, minigun), partially also in two versions (jacket and rebels), but eventually it runs almost exclusively around the storm or shotgun. The different versions are almost identical. Of the weapons the game can not score well, it's just very ... conventional.
What is new is the ability of the rebels, unneeded ammunition found for own weapons rebuild, so they can be used. For this purpose they can play dead or buried grenades, both of which thus is hardly necessary and rather Spielkram. Dig grenades therefore brings even a little, because "HAZE" no particular emphasis on tactics sets - grenades should therefore, following the own way, thrown forward, but not buried in front of a :).
As a soldier of the shell corporation, however you can inject nectar and thus boost his reflexes, vision and the goal of wealth, which is quite nice.
Opponents number is, of the various types ago, minimalist. They act - as expected - average intelligence. Neither straw stupid nor particularly clever.
In the meantime, there are passages in the vehicle from the third-person. This I found quite monotonous, to the control or the handling of the cars is somewhat imprecise. At a stretch I had to (repeatedly) a bad foul graphic errors, so I instead went at once to the planned route in a sky with stones and with difficulty re-discovered the way. Well, can happen ...
A bit annoying were the companions who have been with him. The coat Corporation are quite funny because you give them their nectar-dose but points out, especially since they speak quite dull-labile stuff. The comments of the rebels, however, are limited to a minimum amount of constantly repeating phrases, which is quickly tiring. For this purpose they tend to push away a general, which is especially annoying when you just use the sniper rifle.
The game does not support the way the trophies feature.
The story, however, has praiseworthy efforts.
The playing time is quite scarce (estimated 9 hours), but I was glad when I was through. Because could tie me up "HAZE" not. Everything seemed fairly bloodless - not only the opponents: D.
Conclusion: If you primarily play shooter, will likely also to "HAZE" can not avoid. But those who only occasionally resorts to a shooter, should take one of the many alternatives ... because "HAZE" moves only somewhere in the average and acts in direct comparison - with almost any shooter of the PS3 - quite pale.
