few days ago I received this gem had the difficult task to replace my film SLR (Canon EOS 1). The result is now very convincing, it took me one hour to fully master it, and since I do about 100 shots per day (children, landscapes, horses, sand yachts ...) as for the 2 images loupées moment. The Fujinon lens provides a lens with a quality zoom (but requires skill), the viewfinder is very clear (no diopter correction ... shame), the images are of a very good definition (jpeg) the colors are well saturated.
I recommend investing rapidly in two batteries, as it is quite delicious (between 40 and 100 images with 4 alkaline batteries), but I think it's the fault of all digital devices.
So I think it's perfect family camera, with which an experienced photographer will find pleasure.
In fact, it comes with a remote control, HD cable, and one for conventional TV.
