After the excellent book by the same author "foods that heal," I wanted to find his book on the young. It is well documented and benefit from the personal experience of the author. No doubt she was right about the benefits of fasting which appears reserved to people who are not on medication long term. The book contains many repetitions throughout the chapters, which could have been avoided, particularly on the effects of fasting to face some more or less considered incurable by traditional medicine diseases. In conclusion, a good book to discover fasting, practice, and the benefits that one is likely to withdraw, but this book could have been much more condensed.
