The sound and the reception qualities are exceptional for a machine of this size. Has to assess this one be neither a self-proclaimed audiophile, yet have expensive instruments.
The possibilities are endless: Whether as a wireless active speaker, Shower Radio, Radio on the go, ...
I have even abused as a radio / active speaker while working: It is extremely robust and moreover washable.
A faithful companion, which is worth its price quite. I would have to advise itself, I would recommend to me the device highly.
Edit:
Now, after four years, the cap of the charging port had to be replaced (normal wear and tear). Even a new battery was due for this period: The batteries have now a higher capacity, which is clearly noticeable. Two working days at normal listening levels are not a problem.
Also a warning I would add:
The PAL is a sound and no performance miracle. Anyone who wants to provide sound a beach party, needs a little "thicker". For the quiet barbecue evening it reached all. This device one may just not be confused with a "purebred" Aktivbox!
