A wonderfully tough game that requires a lot of training time

Bloodborne - Standard Edition - [PlayStation 4] (Video Game)

Customer Review

Bloodborne is a game that requires a very intensive training period.
Anyone who has followed my past reviews, will note that I am new to this genre.
In the first three hours is to find out how the game is played.
Here you die all the time because you have to get used to the gameplay. Bloodborne can play under any circumstances as Devil May Cry.
Each opponent should be studied.

I'm just the fourth boss and have played 13 hours Bloodborne. Here are my tips beginners:

- Level up: Definitely level up strength and vitality. Even fate is not wrong. The doll in a dream the hunter awakened after the first death. Do not worry, this happens more quickly than expected.
- Visit the first areas several times. There is the most "healing potions". Better a few bunkering. In the later areas this can be found sparse.
- Any corners to explore. Often doors can be opened, so that abbreviations may be used
- Regular repair and upgrade the weapon (in a dream of the hunter)
- Opponents with R3 sightings. So it's easier to avoid with circle
- Total play defensively and wait for the opponent's mistakes. Do not just slap = immediate death
Stun enemies with the gun at the right moment and then apply with the R1 Finishermove -
- Running away (keep pressed circle) is sometimes not wrong. In particular, in the "Invisible City" = enjoy way find ;-)
- No opponent underestimate. Even two birds can be dangerous.
- Sometimes enemies can be shot by surveys as they stagger backwards. This saves a tough fight.
- The blood echoes are gone after not die. You need to be collected at the point again where you previously died. Sometimes opponents wear these in themselves. You can see the shining eyes.

Now my reviews:

Graphically Bloodborne is well done. There is no graphic bomb. Some of the backgrounds are somewhat lacking in detail. But the enemies are well modeled and textures are reproduced sharply the light influence.
Blood effects on the mantle of the hunter look awesome.
The Level System incl. Menu is easy to understand (after training period).

The degree of difficulty is very, very high. I've played in the past decade, not a game where you will be called such. I would like to highlight an extremely positive this first. Because due to the captivating atmosphere and its own drive "I finally want to do it," one remains.
But negative I see the reset points. At the beginning you can still see the enemies that respawn again and again after the death, run past to get to the boss. Later, this is no longer simply as possible. Here the enemy must be fought again.
It's almost impossible to beat a boss enemy at the first passage. Often, you can sense that a new boss will come. Sometimes you but just plug inside and know that you will lose its blood echoes. Then one thinks immediately to the opponent that you have previously flattened and was glad. At the same time you know that you have to do it all again, if there are no shortcuts.
The reset points are in my opinion unfair and frustig.
The game does not forgive mistakes. There are seldom really room for experimentation, without having to take a re dying in purchasing. This is annoying and fascinating.
The next steps must be carefully considered accordingly. If one has collected 12,000 blood echoes once and has yet to massacre by a horde of enemies, because the next lamp is a few meters away, panic can arise.
These are the moments that make Bloodborne unique.
It's a game that does not take one by the hand, but where you have to help yourself.
There are rarely aids or notes.
If one has come quite far and loses its blood echoes, then you could scream, cry or throw the controller against the wall.
It does not help to get excited about.
Bloodborne is a great game. There captivating in a variety of ways. While playing, I experience frustration, fear and hope. Sometimes you can only pray, live to escape from a situation. This feeling I had never experienced in my game.

Annoying are a few glitches. Opponents can hit through walls or hit from a lower level up and injure oneself. Of course you can also even make it to the benefit by taking advantage of the same scheme.

Conclusion:
The game is not for the faint of heart. It is not a game that you play only intermittently. It is not a game that you put in the evening to relax in the PS4 to be entertained.
Where other games stop, begins Bloodborne. I am repeating myself happy. The first hour should be used to get to know the peculiarities of weapons and enemies.
After six hours, The Order ceases and you come to bloodborne gradually forward and has perhaps not yet killed the first boss.
Of course, much depends on the skill level of the player. However, there remains Bloodborne a very difficult game.
The game is not for everyone and not everyone can afford and the nerve to get involved in the game.
I think it's impressive what emotions can trigger a game.
Since experts have mentioned that video games blunt the human emotions. Bloodborne is a proof that this is not so.
