My query relates to the Gardena 2656-20 Wandschlauchbox roll up. The product was protected from the elements assembled and dismantled in the winter, so it has never gotten frost. Due to the small garden hose has hardly extended to the entire length, were used mostly max.10 meters of available Schauches.
Yesterday I mounted due to the spring-like temperatures the hose box in the garden again. When I unrolling the hose, I heard a strange scratching from the Box I had the hose straight to the max. Unrolled length in order to clean the tubing. From this point on the hose box but wrapped the hose no longer self-evident. I
think the spring for rewinding is ausgehängt- or broken. As you can see from the attached original invoice, the unit was ordered in April 2007 at Amazon, at a price of 141.-Euro. I have taken up first with Amazon contact to clarify responsibilities. Amazon I got the information, I may sit down with Gardena in conjunction, as the warranty claims selenium expired clear after nearly 7 years.
My question: is possible to repair the hose box cost? Or does the defect economic KO of Hose? Does it make sense to repair the hose box itself? When a repair is possible, how much does it cost to repair? Based on my research on the net, and the many forum posts relating to the defects of Schlauchbox- see Amazon- I want to emphasize at this point that I faith- not open the device I'll wait until

Unfortunately I can not tell if a repair is possible, without having seen the hose box personally.
A repair would 80 incl. VAT matter if the wave or the latch holder is broken.
An exact price information I can give you but unfortunately not exist without that we have the box checked.
The price of a new Wandschlauchbox is betw. 80 and 130 (depending on model)

Two weeks later I get back the box, and has about 40.- Euro COD fee estimate and mailing costs paid. And although I had the div customer service. Photos sent which showed the defect clearly, and Box also itself completely disassembled contra. The customer service knew about defect clear decision, but the box should still around I send for repair special for a lot of money in the area is also completely unnecessary.
