Absolute top product with small flaws (which should not be)

I got myself the product after my (ur) old LG recorder has recorded no sound and had only an analog cable tuner. In the meantime I also had a Samsung recorder, I have returned because I was very unhappy with the operation and function. Also, I have not ordered it directly from Amazon, because it is not there at the time available.
I have (with the 500GB drive) bought the small model, because I always just the public as HD receive cable and one can upgrade the device with an external hard drive to the device rear. Basically, I am very happy with the product and would buy it again at any time. Strong buy recommendation!

Enclosed some pros and cons to the device:
+ Two cable tuners work properly (because my TV also has a tuner, I can record two programs simultaneously and conveniently see on the TV tuner, a third program).
+ The tuner make a really nice image and switching of the station happened very quickly.
+ The selected program (which can be seen just on TV) is always (without having to press any key) with recorded and can be easily stopped with the PAUSE button (Live TV function). Thus, you can really quickly get away from the TV for the current program (refrigerator, screaming kids, toilet,) without missing something.
+ Direct SD card slot, which also understands SDXC cards. So I can quickly and easily view the photos and videos (AVCHD) from my NEX camera. The whole is really happening without waiting when viewing photos or videos. The next image is displayed without loading times at your fingertips. This is really a super good bonus for me!
+ The possibility recordings using the TV Guide principle to several minutes to start earlier and record up to 10 minutes longer estimated as normal without it specially to select for each shipment (that was one of the biggest shortcomings of the Samsung recorder I had time to you had to for each broadcast incorporated deep into the menu).
+ Integration into the home network. Working properly (as a server or client). And I wanted the whole necessarily via WiFi, which was also easy to accomplish.
+ HbbTV makes me happy. I've seen quite a few programs that I simply overlooked in TV (eg from the ARD, ZDF media library). I think that once again as something useful.
+ In the settings there is the option that appears when there are new channels (but do not know how it will look once, so far I have not received any new proposals transmitter).
+ Sony TV remote control can be controlled with the Panasonic.

+/- The start could generally go a little faster, especially in BluRays.
+/- It lacks a MUTING (Silent) and an eject button (Eject) for the DVD / BD disc on the remote control.
+/- The menu structure is panasonicmäßig. One knows about it, you have no problem with that. Otherwise, it takes some acclimatization period. However, the menu is as in the recorder of my parents. The is already 7 years old Somehow one has since not developed. Some might be easier.
+/- On the remote has directly a Skype button. I think that's somehow not so great. Use think for 99% of the people which the device key is useless. As one might have something better doing it.
+/- If I interleave an SD card with photos and videos immediately comes the query what I want to see just photos or videos. If you choose one (eg photos) and would later see the other (namely, the video) you have to jump through cumbersome menus. This could be handled better.

- Although the tuner make a beautiful picture, I find the color setting is too warm. To me, that everything has a red tint. Unfortunately, I can not directly correct the recorder (however, my opinion is not true for the rest of the viewer). Since I had to roll over the TV values. Then, however, no longer fit for the ordinary TV tuner ...
- I miss a Picture in Picture (PiP), so you during a break in a feature film (or series) sometimes can quickly look at the Internet, the hard drive, the other tuner or HbbTV and using the PIP function in time for the feature film may return when advertising I is over (like the split screen commercials during football or F1).
- I miss a real browser for surfing the Internet. The remaining offer is not really interesting to me.
- If you want to go back in some menu items by pressing the Return key, to get all on the homescreen instead one level further back.

On USB, I have not been so focused because I have not yet been used.
In general, I now have a LG, a Samsung, a Sony and a Panasonicgerät for TV and Bluraysteuerung and have to say these are the easiest to understand and control the menus at Panasonic (just my opinion).

The rest of the features I have not yet used. Especially the 3D function, I can not use it because I have no 3D TV.
