I bought on the many positive reviews out to me this model. It was intended to replace a simple Philips shaver, since I was no longer satisfied with its shaving performance in the upper lip area (the Philishave models have their strength indeed rather in other regions). At first I was on set that it might take a while until my skin becomes accustomed to this shaver and have therefore, the not quite satisfactory shaving performance is not too much attention. But before could improve my impression of it, I realized that the metal grid that covers the blades began to get holes (!) It was absolutely inexplicable how this could happen, but after 4-5 week, had the grid so a big hole that I got small cuts by the blade and obviously a replacement became necessary. And when I saw for the spare part, astonished me of being too proud price for this Gitterchen: 30 to 45 EUR, depending on the dealer (mind you ONLY the grid without spare blade) (!). In a new price of the overall device by 60-70 Euro for me absolutely inakkzeptabel. So unfortunately I had to realize that it seems now to drive a marketing strategy similar to the printer manufacturer (?) The devices are sold cheap, the real costs (and profits ...) then come up with the necessary becoming Nachkäufen. And as in my case, it can go incredibly fast, to such a part breaks down. Such an approach, I think, however, for most short-sighted, because for me it means that the Panasonic brand, very lost prestige and lose out will have for me when making future purchases.
