The 820 only had a 4.3 "screen and I wanted a larger screen. Also, the 820 is a relatively small battery and keeps hardly one day. Then came the 930 and I have bought myself (in black).
It looks very classy and is very well made. Since I like to take pictures, the 20 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization is a big argument.
The display is a 1080s, that is, one does not see pixels and even the smallest fonts are legible. Colors are a bit hard, but you can adjust (the settings for the display are diverse). The screen is a stunner, and the best I've seen so far.
There is not much further to say to the mobile phone itself. In some forums people talk about purple artifacts on the screen and a flicker. Last week, Microsoft has released an update for the 930s released, which supposedly these issues are resolved. I have it in any case can not tell (my 930 came on the day of the update, so I do not know how it was "no").
In sum: very stable built phone looks good, sharp screen, ergonomic operation, large battery.
For me, a top device which I can recommend every iPhone users).
UPDATE 05/01/2015:
What bothered me so far at 930 were the following points:
- Relatively short battery life (1 - 1.5 days)
- Slow camera startup (after clicking camera button)
- Picture quality of the camera a bit weak
- "Yummy purple" stitch when the display brightness was quite low
Microsoft is to distribute the new firmware update. For my 930, there has been nothing more and as I unfortunately was one of the most technologically impatient people, I have installed denim itself.
After that, the phone is almost no longer recognizable. My problem points have been completely shut down. Now the battery will last approximately 40% longer. The 930 is also not so hot and the violet-stitch is off.
Most importantly, however, the camera starts virtually immediately. The image quality with the new Lumia Camera is great, much sharper than under the cyan firmware.
