AC / DC Live

Actually you do not say much about a live album from AC / DC. Finally, you get exactly what you expect: really good Hard Rock one of the best live acts ever. They will play of course all the hits, like 'Thunderstruck', 'Back in Black', 'The Jack', 'Hells Bells', 'Highway to Hell' and many more. The guitars sound really fat, drums and bass AC / DC more typical minimalsitisch and Brian Johnson's voice is so wonderfully scratchy like a circular saw. Especially the songs of Bon Scott (z. B. 'TNT') I like so very good. Single out songs is really difficult because the quality is consistently high, failures are in my opinion not to be found here, but highlights for me are 'Jailbreak' and 'Let There Be Rock' with its extensive guitar solos and 'Money Talks' which to me in this live version much better like than on the studio album.

It is also worth even the sound of the album, not as raw and dirty as in 'If You Want Blood' but very powerful and clear.

My only criticisms are on the one hand, the choice of songs: There are indeed represent all known hits and some songs of the current at the time the album, but I would have liked a bit (more) of the albums' For Those About to Rock ',' flick of the Switch 'and' Fly on the Wall 'belongs. If they have been on the professional tours ever. After all, it still managed by 'Blow Up Your Video' two songs on the live album.
The second criticism is hiding almost all songs, which greatly destroyed the illusion of a continuous live concert. Even if the songs have been aufegnommen at many concerts, you could have the better solve.
Hence the one star deduction for an otherwise excellent live documentation of AC / DC at the height of her career.
