Have the test done at home with the Omron BF 511 and the Ozeri Touch II and the Physio-therapy center on an InBody device. Here, I first asked myself at home on the Omron and the Ozeri and listed the values and then I went right after that went to the physio. So half an hour after the at-home-measurement was the Physio-measurement place in the therapeutics. In between, of course I ate and drank nothing. The Results: Weight: Ozeri: 105.3 kg /// Omron: 105.2 kg /// InBody (Physio-device): 105.2 kg Body fat: Ozeri: 27.6% /// Omron: 33.8% /// InBody: 33.1% I think the results speak for themselves: The Omron is close to the InBody-Physio device, in terms of both measurements. In two months I will perform the next series of tests and publish the results in a reviewer's update here. At this stage, I can recommend the full OMROM while the Ozeri at least very fares well in the weight measurement. In the body fat measurement you have to but the Ozeri concede a certain inaccuracy, since the device structure and the associated measurement is designed "simple" as the Omron. Should the results be confirmed in the next measurements at this level, then you have the Ozeri, with regard to body fat, added include just 20 to 25% of the measured value in order to arrive at the correct result. But I'll wait times from coming exams. The handling is simple for both devices: They can with your foot slide easily under a cabinet or a shelf and rausholen again and with the big toe, the two devices can be easily switched on and off. While anyway automatically turn off after a certain time on its own. The numbers can be read well and if you want to make a note, there is plenty of time: When Ozeri the results run through several times, and when you choose Omron to the handpiece the results by pressing the corresponding button. At Omron we have the following measurement options: weight, BMI, body fat percentage, skeletal muscle percentage, resting metabolism, Visceral Fat Level Measurement options at Ozeri: body fat percentage, body water percentage, body muscle percentage, bone mass The Ozeri stores up to 8 profiles, the Omron has a memory for 4 people and a guest. Visually, the Ozeri is truly a feast for the eyes, I'll give him. But I attach no value. The instructions of the Ozeri is detail, but there are already too complain relatively many spelling mistakes, but the understanding does not detract. Both guides also contain general references to terms such as fat, skeletal muscle, etc .. The Omron instructions are clear and detailed and just as an instruction manual should be nowadays. Summary: The Omron really seems to be a Top-meter. I hope the next test measurements confirm this impression. The Ozeri is a device that (no measurement at 8 sensors like the Omron, but only 4 foot sensors) in my opinion anyway can not measure so precisely because of the technical requirements. That was clear to me from the outset. But for the price it is a good device. As already mentioned: the middle of March, I will carry out the next test series and update here.
Update / end of October: Now it has taken longer but with the update, because I'm just focusing on weight loss and the balance was used only for weight measurement: Am of weight, now less than 100 kg and the Omron has shown a body fat percentage of 30.3% today. Here, then, seems to be true tendency. A comparison measurement in the Therapy Center I will make in the next few weeks and then publish here
