Customer Review

For the sake of a change after 5 years Android & Apple devices I wanted to switch back to a Windows Phone even if I did not at that time had the best experience with my Samsung Omnia 7. Because I do not want more than 5 inches Device addition and was strong hardware for a buttery smooth representation prerequisite, I quickly ended up in the Lumia 930, but less than 2 weeks later, I have to unfortunately again say goodbye to Windows Phone, as were large devices Alternatives not there in my claims.

I had a total of 3 unit order before I had to give up the 930 with a heavy heart because of all the 3s bothered me a perceptible, horizontal display flicker when I was traveling in the 2G network - most disturbing towards white surfaces like the Facebook Timeline . see Admittedly, this is not strong but noticeable and annoying for me and on the device that worked best, this flickering was more pronounced. The manufacturer is aware of the problem but even after more than a year on the market, it is still present. The unit of the 2nd delivery had good display uniformity, the remaining were to see visible vertical streaks for example. In the multitasking menu or monochrome surfaces perceptible. Initially went to pretty much 2 days from now on equal to the power button no longer (why, God knows), what was intended to correct only by a soft reset and dutifully repeated every 2-3 hours from and to the device even remained stuck in a reboot loop period after the PIN has been entered. And then at some point the most bug-device, what I actually wanted to keep, spontaneous display twitching got (1/10 of a second was the picture completely gone) is finally tore my hat cord. I've already much crap with today's technology experience, but something.

What else is there to say so:

Positive:
+ TOP processing, great design and quality haptics
+ Good audio performance incl. 6-Band Equalizer with Pre-Settings (sound can be heard better than on an iPhone 5C)
+ The color and color intensity of the neon-green back is just great
+ Bright screen itself acts against the actually quite good iPhone 5C display needs some improvements
+ Inductive charging possible with the DT-903 from Nokia is even charging the highlight (albeit an expensive pleasure)
+ Black level almost to the optimum (varies however from time to time depending on the application)
+ Fingerprints on the front hold quite well in borders
+ Bing Internet search, with its daily changing backgrounds a great experience
+ The 3 levels of display brightness can be adapted to your needs
+ I like the style of communication programs (e-mail / SMS / Whatsapp) total! White text on a black background looks just nice tidy

Negatives:
As already mentioned above, the device - especially the display - to error-prone (one or the other blindworm do not like this big notice)
-The Windows logo at the bottom is not clean illuminated the right pane have a slight shadow. But is apparently normal for this model
-Tap To wake from time to react at the 2nd attempt. The situation is similar in general operation that often requires a 2nd attempt
-General Works operate not as good as with iPhone & Co. As always meticulously exactly its targets must take to ensure that you will be redirected
-The Vibration module is not the strongest. Every now and then one has to seriously question whether the device has vibrating level or whether the imagination was. An adjustment of the intensity would certainly not rocket science.

And a few more comments on the supposedly fast-growing Windows Store:
-Within My almost 2-week Lumia 930 phase was not a single new app in the Store
-The Store still has a somewhat meager selection. Apps that I've missed 5 years ago, I miss today still
-You Must often after app alternatives look because no official app available
-iOS & Android are always served first if sometime ne WP app comes out, is questionable
-For Apps such as. Philips My Remote / PlayStation / Philips Hue / YouTube / Lieferando one finds only alternatives because there is no original App
-More Than a handful of my used in iOS apps (which is also available in the Android store) there is not at all. That would for example. Amazon Music / VEVO / Gumtree / Harmony / Bandsintown / Eventim / Sony Music Unlimited / Kinopolis & Amazon Instant Video.
-The Store is lagging behind from the beginning strongly and this will probably never change what size
Smartphones living from their apps and when the nix suck

If the device to keep really like, but with the technical quirks I come to life just is not clear.
