At first the internal hardware / performance:
Well, the interior is perfectly fine and current state of the art for such a small machine. Had in my extensive testing no problems. Capacity was also great, for such a device. Meets expectations completely on a convertible. The Lenovo in the forum long-discussed problem of the wireless network I can not judge because the computer remained constant separated from the Internet. Windows should have no chance to be activated, so that I could send it back.
The Design:
The processing of Yoga 2 Pro is Lenovo Top quality. The outer housing made of aluminum, the surface around the keyboard is a kind of rubberized plastic. Everything feels high quality. Could find no offset edge or other mistake in the production. In this respect great job. The two hinges appear clean, are not too heavy and not too light. No rattling, but is not too large in the state mode of resistance, here you should watch. In particular, a so chic device that a tear to have to pack it again the soul.
Connections:
Well, 2x USB is really tight, especially since the place would have been there already. But okay, it's just a Convertible and no notebook, therefore perfectly okay. Quite simply okay. I still recommend good headphones :) Otherwise you can ever watch a movie on it, but you should not expect stunning sound quality, which I do not have too.
The display:
After switching on I thought first "Wow careful touch, not that one cuts" Thanks QHD + crisp edges on text and tiles of Win8. However, that's about all that has identified the "wow" effect. Then it started:

Then it goes on: Windows 8 needs to be driven with 200% scaling, otherwise you need the Magnifier. This works in many places very good, but unfortunately not all. Even the button in the media player are so puny, that an operator is not fun. Even Lenovo has no plan with the QHD + umzugehen..die font in Recovery Center is so small that you can hardly read. How that has come through the QA, is questionable to me ... I bet even after the motto: "We throw just an update to". Adobe Reader also has to use only moderately, the icons all suffer from the 16 x 16 pixel standard and scaled Windows 8 also not up.
Conclusion:
A super device was thrown that far too early on the market and the + suffers from the "infantile disorder" QHD. Such high-resolution displays are simply too new. Over time, the software will be well adapted to it, but currently 16x16 pixels are simply too small. Especially when the screen size well Full HD would have been enough. But that sells probably worse. I have this software Patzer and the poor calibration of the display in any case no 1300 value. Pity, because the yoga principle offered a lot of potential. Here one has but optimized over the top and only rely on the marketing department: "customer sees more pixels, customer buys". That the client at 1300 then also wants to recognize icons, symbols and font, probably no one has asked the consumers.
Recommendation: wait until it is in a store and judge for themselves, and definitely comparable to the Sony VAIO Multi Flip. While other Convertible principle and "only" Full HD, but technically quite identical hardware. Unfortunately, the price, if not slightly more expensive. There is also a stylus for Sony to do so. Alternatively comes indeed from Lenovo nor the Thinkpad Yoga variant. I hope, as the QA longer afterwards. The Thinkpad variant comes with Full HD, so there is still hope for the yoga principle.
