Seagate went again today after 3 days at Amazon back. On paper, it looked really good, but unfortunately the performance is beyond the pale. Each time! Copying, brought from the plate and spat an error - thought at first the source media is wrong, but unfortunately it was the Seagate - apparently disconnected / reconnected the plate quite happy times themselves, which unfortunately does not go for a backup disk ,
Above all, the problem with Seagate does not seem to be unknown because the company's forum threads contains a whole lot to - always with the same brilliant solution proposals:
1. Other cable taste (Did I)
2. Seagate drüberlaufen control software (Did I, no useful information, but no error message)
3. chipset drivers of the mainboard new play (Did I)
4. On the other USB port (Did I also)
After the error still exists, I really can not recommend this drive with a clear conscience - Stay away and prefer to try something from Western Digital.
