I use it almost daily to prepare soups. Its blades allow efficient mixing and working very fast (a few seconds are enough). Despite its power of 800W, the noise is moderate (unlike my old blender 70s).
Maintenance level, everything is easily cleaned with tap water with a little dishwashing liquid.
The cons:
- The container is heavy: for small preparations, it is oversized. An elderly person with osteoarthritis is likely to struggle to lift the bowl and pour the ingredients. It is actually too heavy for a serene use (caution cramps).
- The first time I have used it, removing the bowl from its base (filled with soup) to put it on my work plan, the entire soup was spilled. We must ensure that these two parts (bowl and base) are properly locked (see manual).
It consists of four buttons:
- "P" (Custom): blender operate only during pressing the button. Useful for short mixtures (eg garlic or onion)
- Special crushed ice: The speed is higher for a smooth and expeditious looting
- Smoothies: special for creamy fruit juice. Very popular with the fans of fresh and healthy products for its vitamins and low calories
- Circular and graduated knob (like an oven or micro wave): Customize the speed (low to maximum)
I recommend this blender for demanding people who need to work with medium quantities efficiently and quickly. Frail older person or attention to the weight of the pouring bowl.
