How to Use the Touch Screen
For tablet newcomers:
The German and English manuals have been created very carefully and in detail, is the weak point, only some of its grammar. However, this is not so bad, the manuals are additionally provided with screenshots and graphics and easy to understand. Another usage message to the touch screen is also available in English here, here, the operation will be explained with a capacitive touchscreen display for newbies.
My first impressions:
First me, of course, the flashy color of tablets noticed the design errinnerte me of the Lumia models of Nokia and Microsoft, I like the design, it just looks different and striking. The volume up volume down buttons are out of the case and can not be overlooked, I like that. The tablet is really very easy with its 259g. (Samsung Tab 3 7.0, 302 g). Surprised, I have about additional power adapter supplied, was new to me that it should not be loaded via microUSB, but via the included AC adapter.
Interfaces
The mircoSD card slot is easily accessible and can be used moment during the operation, the additional SD card is automatically recognized by the tablet.
A headphone jack is also provided, here too the eingeteckten headphones are immediately recognized and used.
The microUSB connection to the Tablet worked fine on my PC (Windows 8.1, USB 3.0). (Via USB tablet was automatically loaded)
The device has no Bluetooth or GPS.
Display
The 7-inch display has a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels on which is perfectly fine, but the jaggies falls in 3D games on already.
Gelegendlich, especially at the edge of the display, the touch gestures are sporadically not recognized correctly. The display reflects very doll, so that even with a low viewing angle distorts the colors.
The display is easy to light with the highest brightness setting, not too bright, and the lowest setting is sufficiently illuminated.
Operating system
From the factory, the Android version is installed 4.4.2 KitKat, the modified version of Dragon Touch reminds of CyanogenMod, the surface is easy to use and intuitive.
Pluses collected the tablet with me, because hardly third apps were installed I do not need (only the AppStore Mobogenie and Zoodles), therefore there is enough space for own use (about 1.5 GB is).
Another plus Punk my side of the tablet is that had already set up the unit, there were calls to start a new account for eg Google. These services can be set up if geünscht later.
Multimedia
The integrated 2MP cameras, front and rear, are suitable only for video telephony or for a few snapshots. The camera zoomed in view acts (no wide angle). The photo results are blurred and unnatural (resolution 1200 x 1600). No focus, no flash.
The sound output is okay and quite clear, unfortunately somewhat Bassarm. When placing the tablet on a surface moment during the unit is playing music, the sound is very strong abgedämft because the speaker output then sonicated directly underground. External speakers can help out.
For testing I have the 3D game GTA Vice City from the AppStore installed and tested, the load times were short and the game play was very fluid.
Battery Performance
Unfortunately, I have no specifications for lithium battery, use the battery at gelegendlicher will probably hold even up to 3-5 days. (34% battery after 1 day and 19 hours on human error and screen brightness adjustment)
With frequent use, probably about one day.
Conclusion:
I would recommend the Dragon Tablet Touch Tablet Y88X especially newcomers highly recommend the user-friendly manual even children and the elderly would versetehen the erstwhile with this device and are not already overwhelmed with Tablet Start for passwords and login information for Google Apps or third-party apps. But even advanced smartphone users who surf the Internet for more convenient looking for a cheap tablet, this device is more than adequate. Even as a mobile game console for kids this device is suitable, practical because the child mode is already installed.
