I "2500 Cullmann Alpha" purchased the Sativ about 2 months ago and am quite satisfied.
The tripod comes packed in cardboard and therefore practical black bag with carrying strap, making at first glance a solid impression.
Three extendable legs with rubber feet (mounted on ball joint) provide secure stand and handle for safe transport without bag in almost any terrain.
(Tip: Have a holiday photographed on the beach and that was a lot of work to get the sand out of the ball joints Hab next time just small socks slipped over it restricts the functionality of the joints and is not a significantly cleaner ;-)..)
Practical:
The hook at the lower end of the central guide tube. Here, for a secure stand in all weathers such as a backpack or similar entrained attached as a weight to stabilize and the horizontal alignment are checked at the built-in spirit level on the tripod head.
The functions fulfill my opinion after all claims. By handle, the amount of (via quick) locked camera are changed, a screw handle allows soulful turns left / right or up and down slopes. By tightening this grip the camera is held in the desired position. The camera can also be tilted in a vertical orientation.
Criticisms:
- Spirit level very inaccurate (should in this case more water "vaguely" hot)
- No description attached
- When tilted into a vertical position I was afraid to break the hinge on the tripod head
Positives:
- All suitable for beginners and occasional filmmaker / photographer times
- Extremely low
- Easy to carry
- Opened a nearly all options
Conclusion:
All in all, this tripod its price fully value, especially compared to other less well-equipped stands which are significantly more expensive.
For beginners and casual photographer I may make a full purchase recommendation.
